WELCOME TO THE PLAY BALL EXPERIENCE
The Play Ball exhibition opens its second season in a new venue, the Arizona Museum for Youth, thanks to a partnership between the City of Mesa, which owns the youth-oriented museum, and the Mesa Historical Museum, which owns rights to the Cactus League history project. The current show will run through November 7, 2010, with plans already underway for its third season in 2011, likely to include taking the show on the road to the home cities of all 15 Major League teams that warm up each spring in Arizona. A traveling exhibit concept would help encourage new visitors to the Cactus League and capitalize on interest in the 2011 All Star Game at Chase Field in Phoenix.
